Help Prof. Jiggy's Journey to a New Life

New news! This was first about Prof. Jiggy, and now there is MORE GREAT news in that there are 3 MORE, possibly 4, who will also being needing to get north to rescue, which is a DREAM COME TRUE! One of them, Prof. Oscar needs to get to Tijuana from Mexicali, so that is an added cost ($150) that has affected the hopeful goal. The other lucky kids are Prof. Dave, Prof. Elmo and possibly another Prof! Just waiting on that info.

About Prof. Jiggy: She's waited for over a year for a rescue and now Prof. Jiggy HAS ONE! Just gotta get her to Southern California to her foster! If you are help to help, even a little, it'd really impact her life and make so many who have worried and cared for her, well, we just might cry a little. A lot. Ok, well, I know I will.

Named Jiggy due to the crazy jigsaw puzzle nature of her injuries from being tossed from a car in Tijuana, then enduring encountering two more, she is a miracle having survived it all with the scars on her sweet skull and one of her ankles to show that it isn't just some horrific made-up story.

The at-choo foundation covered her medical and has been taking care of her boarding and it's been a struggle. Now, we need to cross our fingers, hoping to raise $350 to pay for her to get from Tijuana, north, to become an American in Pasadena. With her shy ways, she will melt and steal some hearts, like she has done all of us lucky folks who have met her in person. Smiling with her is a reflex - it just happens. She's like the Marx brother who didn't talk, but caused laughter and then wanted to hide.

Fate has teamed up with hope and dreams for this chubby, silly girl. After all she's been through, she deserves the moon on a silver platter with treats surrounding the moon and soft blankets under the moon for her to lay on.

I'm so excited for her future! The fact that she actually HAS one, is truly remarkable. Just gotta get to the next chapter - and that will begin in Pasadena.
