Help Professor Baxter Beat COVID-19
Donation protected
If you've ever had the pleasure of meeting Heather Baxter, it's likely been as a student or a member of the South Florida legal community. Or, perhaps it was at one of her talented daughter's cheerleading events. Regardless of how Heather has crossed your path, she certainly leaves an impression. As a Professor at Nova Southeastern University Shepard Broad College of Law, Professor Baxter (fondly referred to as "P-Bax" by her students) has taught, developed, mentored, and impacted the lives of countless young lawyers and students for more than a decade. She is a treasured member of our community, always willing to lend a hand to a colleague or a complete stranger.
We, some of her former students, discovered this week Professor Baxter was, and remains, hospitalized with COVID-19. After speaking with many of her former and current students, there was a resounding desire to help in any way possible. Thus, we decided to create a central fundraising effort to assist and ease the potential financial difficulties associated with her hospitalization, and to assist in the day-to-day efforts of her family, so they can focus solely on helping Professor Baxter beat COVID-19. Of course, any contribution is greatly appreciated, and all proceeds will be sent to Professor Baxter's family.
God willing, Professor Baxter has a speedy recovery.
Thanks for your help, and please send your thoughts and prayers for Professor Baxter and her family.
