Please help us protect the peaceful protestors of Myanmar! Your contribution will be used to purchase helmets, goggles, bullet proof shields and vest! Any amount counts!
On February 9, the Myanmar military shot 19 year old Myat Thwe Thwe Khaing, in the head while she was attending a peaceful protest rally. After 10 days in a coma, she passed away two days before her 20th birthday. On March 3, another teenage girl named Angel was shot as she and other protestors were trying to avoid tear gas canisters thrown at them. Since February 1, 54 people have been killed, including 5 children, with most of them shot in the head or abdomen. The military is using 9mm submachine guns and other automatic weapons to shoot down civilians.
The Myanmar military seized power on February 1. Since then, they have imprisoned elected officials and activists, cut off internet, and are now actively killing peaceful protestors. The Myanmar people fear for their lives, but the prospect of military dictatorship is even scarier. Please help us protect those who are protesting for freedom and security for themselves and their families.
Your contribution will used to deliver protective gear for protestors. We are working closely with a local supplier that manufactures these protective equipments.
We are a group of students and professionals from Myanmar living abroad. For our own protection, we are not revealing our identity. If you need verification, please contact us using the email address below.
Any donation size will make an impact. Thank you so much in advance for your contribution.
