A FUNDRAISER FOR THE BUTTERFLY CLUB

The Butterfly Club has long stood as a cornerstone of not only Melbourne's vibrant cabaret scene, it has also held space within Melbourne’s broader performing arts community. Like many venues however, it has faced continued pressures and strain as a result of the ongoing COVID19 pandemic.

With the federal government having cut job keeper payment, and minimal support being offered to the arts sector despite continued lockdowns and venue capacity limitations among many other restraints- the money raised from this fundraiser will go a long way in supporting the incredible work undertaken by the team at The Butterfly Club.

It has supported 1000’s of artists across the venue's history, providing free space and open access to creatives, and a proven safe space for the LGBTQIA+ Community. Now it’s time to show The Butterfly Club some of that very same support. We are seeking to raise funds which will go directly to the business, ensuring they will be able to continue to support artists and present works across the remainder of 2021 and beyond.
