Help Provide Aid For End Of Life Moments

Hello, my name is Chandra Colson, I am initiating an End of Life Fundraiser in hopes to help finance relief for William and Michelle Colson during this difficult time. This fundraiser is to help aid in any medical and monthly living expenses such as housing, auto, and utilities.

William Colson was diagnosed with Clear Cell Renal Cell Carcinoma in that has metastasized through out his body. He is now under hospice and has 6 months or less to live.

My parents have been married for 33 years and it is their wish to be together for the time Dad has left. Sadly, my mother was recently denied funding from her 401k account. The request to withdrawal funds did not met criteria for approval, and was denied. Those funds were to allow my mother to take a leave of absence from work and would have granted her time to stay home to care for my father which includes; medications, bathing , dressing, toileting/continence care, feeding and any other of his needs. Hospice was able to provide a grant for assistance with a respite worker 3hrs a week starting next week .

My mother currently works full-time, she was granted FMLA so she can take a leave from her job. However once her PTO is exhausted, they will not have the funds for household expenses. She has continued to work due to this. She is missing precious moments that can never be replaced.

Within a matter of 4 months their whole world has been turned upside down.

My parents careers have been one of caring for others. Whether through EMS, Corrections or through volunteering for various organizations.
