Help Provide Blankets to People in Gaza this Winter

Hi there! My name is Lilly and I’m from Melbourne, Australia. I am organising this fundraiser on behalf of my friend from Gaza, Omar Jumaa. Omar has witnessed terrible things in the war this past year, and he wants to try and make life more bearable for those around him as winter approaches.

Omar writes: “The displaced people in southern Gaza live in tents, living under a piece of cloth that does not protect them from the extreme cold and rain. Donate to provide them with blankets, winter clothes, and scarves that protect them from the cold of winter. This is a humanitarian request. All I ask of you is to donate to save these displaced people from the harsh winter.”

Trade limitations imposed on Gaza during the ongoing war have resulted in a scarcity of supplies, causing a drastic increase in prices. Our goal amount of $1,500 will go towards purchasing and distributing the abovementioned items to displaced people who do not have adequate shelter as a result of the war, and may otherwise be unable to purchase such items themselves.
