Help Provide Clean Water to Amazonian Communities

Donate to provide clean water to remote indigenous communities of the Western Amazon which currently rely upon toxic and unsafe water sources contaminated by oil drilling. For $10,000 we can build a solar-powered well and filtration system that will provide safe running water to an entire village for years to come.

This summer, in addition to continued well-building projects, Fundación Raiz will be studying the positive health effects of similar wells constructed in years past.

The well itself includes:

1. The physical hole and concrete tubes for reinforcement

2. A solar pump system.

3. A storage unit.

4. Underground piping.

5. A filtration system capable of separating pure water from biological and metal contaminants.

6. Faucets for each home.
