This past New Year’s day just outside of Phoenix, AZ, our sister Regina and her family were involved in a horrific car accident. A drunk driver whom was actively drinking while driving hit their Suburban causing it to flip multiple times.
5 of our sisters relatives were ejected, instantly killing her Aunt, Selma Gaspar, Uncle, Juan Gaspar and 12 year old cousin Carlos Gaspar.
Our sister, her other aunt, Ana Leticia Martinez and her mom Dulce Martinez survived but with significant injuries.
Regina has a broken collarbone, punctured lung and a chipped vertebrae but is expected to make a full recovery. Dulce, her mom is still fighting for her life and is paralyzed from the neck down and experiencing active brain bleeding. Regina’s Aunt, Ana is recovering from surgery with a broken leg and arm.
This has absolutely devastated our families and we are working to assist in the funeral cost, medical cost and rehabilitation needs to assist in their care during this tragic time.
We come to the community to ask for help financially for their recovery. This is going to be a long road for their family especially Regina’s mom and the 24/7 level of care she will need…every penny counts.
Thank you for the prayers and support for this beautiful family.
