Help provide music programs at schools for Special Education
ART AID has partnered with Be Happy Music Club to help raise funds for one of Fiji's seventeen schools for Special Education. Our goal is to raise $10,000 AUD which will enable the foundation to improve the wellbeing of children living with a disability and promote social inclusion through music programs.
Be Happy Music Club is pioneering the use of music to improve the wellbeing of children with special needs and helping these children reconnect with their communities across Fiji. Classes are led by local musicians and the program has reached over 200 children living with disabilities such as physical impairment, visual impairment, deafness and hearing loss, speech and language disorders, Down Syndrome, Autism and Cerebral Palsy.
Your donations will help provide music programs for one whole year at Fiji School for the Blind and following on from the success of our first project we plan to fund programs at Sigatoka Special & Nasavusavu Special School.
We are proud to say that Be Happy Music Club is supporting Fiji to achieve the goals outlined in the Fiji Disability Strategy, which in turn supports the achievements of the Pacific Regional Disability Strategy, the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
Our goal is to help Be Happy Music Club expand the program to all seventeen schools for Special Education currently operating in Fiji. To help us achieve this and to be part of the change, you can donate directly here with every cent going to the project.
