Help Publish Grandma's 1929 Children's Book

Publishing my grandmother’s children’s book 100 years later.
In 1929, my grandmother wrote and illustrated a beautiful children’s story about a young boy who befriends a mermaid and a few sea creatures. The stars of the story, Jackie Boy and Coral the Mermaid, were based on her two children. Sadly, in 1935, the original art for the book was lost in a Category 5 hurricane that hit Miami, but black and white photos of the art and the original text remained.
I live in Charleston, South Carolina, am the son of “Jackie Boy” and have been an artist all my life. For the past year and a half, I have been bringing her art back to full color from the black and white images so that this adorable story can finally be published. My cousin, “Coral’s” daughter, is editor and assisting with publishing this project.
We are raising funds for the publishing costs (graphic design and photography) of this very unusual family project.
