Help publish The Golden Thread

My name is Amelia Donnelly and I am reaching out to ask for your financial support to help me self publish my book, "The Golden Thread".
I am a currently a primary school teacher and I have never been published before.
The book I have written is very close to my heart, as it explores suffering, loss and the power of love.
My brother was hit by a car and killed when I was 17, and I struggled to find positive coping strategies at the time.
I have been teaching for 7 years now and I am alarmed by the increasing number of children and families suffering from anxiety and mental health.
Kids, like us, experience loss yet no real message that explores the power of love and connection is being shown to kids.
This is where The Golden Thread comes in, a thread of pure gold light that exists between people who love each other. It is so strong that it can't be cut, broken or damaged - even if someone moves overseas or dies.
Inspired by a Loving Kindness meditation, The Golden Thread equips students with a powerful strategy to understand and accept loss and be comforted that love is the most powerful connection.
I intend for the book to be targeted at kids aged between 6 and 12, and hope to promote it to other schools that might wish to explore it in the classroom.
I have been trained in Positive Education at Geelong Grammar and wrote mindfulness curriculum for The Resilience Project's school project.
It would be my dream come true to see this positive message get out into the community and I would be eternally grateful to have your support.
Sincerely,
Amelia Donnelly
*As a way to express my deepest gratitude for your finanical support, all donors will recieve a signed copy of the book :)
