Help Pudis Play Rugby in Australia
Donation protected

Pudis is one of our local rugby players. Pudis was born in Chiang Mai, Thailand and attended Prince Royal’s College (PRC) from kindergarten to grade 12. He graduated from PRC in 2015 and studied in the Faculty of Political Science and Public Administration at Chiang Mai University. His family all resides in Chiang Mai and Pudis has two older sisters. He has been playing rugby for twelve years and normally plays scrumhalf but is equally adept at centers or fullback.
In addition to rugby, Pudis is an avid rower and has been rowing competitively since his high school days at PRC.
He is very excited to travel to Australia and play a season with Kempsey Cannonballs, in New South Wales. Upon his return to Thailand, Pudis will attend Chiang Mai University to obtain his Master’s degree in either Sports Science or Business Administration.
Pudis is a leader both on and off the pitch. He is lightning quick on attack, with a vision to find space, and is tenacious in defense. Like a jackal over the ball, Pudis is all over the pitch and will make a tremendous addition to any team.
Perhaps his best asset beside his drive and determination is the fact that he is so humble. He is a natural athlete and a genuinely great guy.
For the reasons above, Pudis was selected to be the Cobras Rugby Club first pathway player. He has played rugby with multiple clubs in Chiang Mai, including PRC, Chiang Mai All Stars and Cobras Rugby. Pudis loves playing rugby. He revels in its challenges and credits the sport as it makes him happy. Playing rugby has opened up new friendships and opportunities for Pudis and he is looking forward to what lies ahead in his rugby career.
Cobras Rugby is actively involved with clubs globally to find appropriate venues to showcase our local Thai rugby talent. Our club works with PRC and other local rugby clubs to identify players that could be noticed and have an impact in higher level rugby. Pudis was quickly identified for our Australia opportunity and will be able to compete and contribute fully to the Kempsey Cannonballs.
Cobras Rugby will be sending two players to the UK at the end of the summer to play with our sister club, Lowestoft and Yarmouth Rugby Union Football Club. We are always searching for avenues to display the local Thai players and provide options to pursue the sport we love and perhaps, have the world take notice.
