Help Purnima fight cancer

My name is Poojan Pokhrel, and I am fundraising for my beloved sister, Purnima (Prashna) Pokharel. Purnima, who is just 19 years old, embarked on a life-changing journey from Biratnagar, Nepal to the United States in 2021, filled with dreams and aspirations. Little did she know that her life would take an unexpected turn, leading us down a challenging and painful path.

My sister Purnima's health struggles began since her childhood.She had undergone many surgeries and she have anxiety,epilepsy and depression since 5 years. That makes her so weak. And now, only four months ago, we received the devastating news - she has been diagnosed with Stage 3 Nasopharyngeal Carcinoma, a relentless and aggressive form of cancer. This diagnosis has turned our lives upside down, and we are now in the midst of an arduous battle against this deadly disease.

Purnima has always been a brilliant student with a promising future ahead of her. She had dreams of continuing her education and making a positive impact on the world. Unfortunately, her dreams have been put on hold due to her illness, and it breaks my heart to see her suffer.

Currently, Purnima is undergoing her fourth round of chemotherapy and radiation therapy. Her immune system has been severely compromised, and she requires regular white blood cell transfusions to keep her fighting spirit strong. The treatment process is lengthy, stressful, and extremely painful for her.

The financial burden of Purnima's medical treatments and the related expenses is overwhelming, and it has left our family in a precarious situation. I have put my life on hold to be by her side and provide the love and care she needs, but I am unable to work due to the demands of Purnima's treatment.

We all share the same wish – to see Purnima overcome this deadly disease and come back home, continuing her education. But for that to happen, we need your support. Update- We took her to emergency ward today (November 13) morning due to critical condition and extremely low blood pressure. She will be admitted in hospital and will stay for her entire radiation therapy according to doctors (for 6 weeks). Her 5th chemotherapy will be in between radiation. Please pray for my sister ❤️
