Help Lay Edy to Rest
Donation protected
On 10/09/21 our family received the tragic news that our adored uncle Edy, who was only 46, had passed away. Edy Alvarado had fallen victim to a senseless act of gun violence. Edy was closing shop at 10:30 with his wife waiting to take him home when he was suddenly taken away from his 3 children waiting on him at home. His wife was not only burdened with having to witness the acts of violence, but was also attacked by the two men who had taken her husband from her.
Edy was not only a husband, father, and family member, but a great man who showed nothing but love and compassion to those around him. There was never a moment at any gathering that he wasn’t one of the brightest and joyous people in the room, always bringing a positive energy to the room that can never be replicated nor will ever be forgotten. Edy's smile was something that could be trademarked with his name, as everyone who was ever in contact with our uncle never saw him without a smile on his face.
Edy leaves behind a wife, three kids, and soon to be two grandchildren here as he moves on to a higher place. The money graciously donated to this fund will be given to his wife to help with the funeral and future living expenses for the next few months in this new chapter of life for his family. There is no rush for the funds and any amount will be helpful in alleviating this life changing tragedy for his wife and kids he leaves behind. Leyda Dubon, Edy’s wife and mother of their 3 children will be receiving the funds and will be using them to provide for her family as she pushes through this difficult time.
