Help Put Hillary Onyeanakwe To Rest

On February 25, 2024, our brother and cousin, late Pharm Dr. Hillary Onyeka Onyeanakwe, was discovered dead in his apartment in Toronto, Canada under yet-to-be determined circumstances, which are currently being investigated by the Toronto Police Service. At the time of his death, Mr. Onyeanakwe was living alone in his apartment.
The greatest tragedy in the death of our beloved brother is that he had only lived in Canada for 2 months before his untimely death. Pharm Dr. Onyeanakwe, who was educated in medical school in Nigeria, had landed in Canada as a permanent resident on December 14, 2023, and was hoping to live a better life here, while contributing to the alleviation of shortage of medical professionals in Canada. He had held no job positions or made any money in Canada prior to his sudden death. Being the first of 4 children, his grief-stricken parents had sold most of what they had to send him to medical school and to ensure that his plans of relocation to a better life in Canada was reality. Contrary to expectations, that dream of a better life and his parents’ hopes of seeing a shining light in the family were shattered on February 25, 2024. Pharm Dr. Onyeanakwe was only 30 years of age. He is survived by his parents and 3 younger siblings, all of whom live in Nigeria.
Given that the deceased was the breadwinner in his family, with no income or savings of his own since arriving in Canada, we are passionately soliciting your kind donations to cover the cost of his funeral expenses and burial in Canada. All donations received will be handed over to his only cousin in Canada, Mr. Ifeanyi Onyeanakwe, on behalf of the family. Thank you for your support. It is our earnest prayer that you and your loved ones never experience any tragedy of this sort!
