Help put the children of Liberia in school!

We are helping over 1,500 kids in Liberia who need to go to school. Let's enroll as many children as possible!!!

 

Gabanja International Volunteer Program is making a tremendous impact in the lives of these kids who want go to school!

 

Our children need to go to school, but there are few effective and viable free public schools in the country of Liberia presently. They are dilapidated, overcrowded, understaffed, and underfunded for the most part. This program aims to enroll as many students as possible in private schools, where they can get the quality education they need.

 

Due to Ebola and COVID, many Liberian children are orphans with no direction in their lives, yet they are still full of enthusiasm and love and just need the slightest chance to succeed. The only way to receive a quality education is through private schools, but most families are too poor to pay the fees. Our children should be in school, not roaming the streets and getting into trouble.

 

If you donate to a government-sponsored program, very little of the money goes to the people in need, or for whom it is intended. Government officials, administrators, business people, and others claim their share so that eventually, there is almost nothing left for the children who need your help.

 

However, if you donate to a grassroots fundraiser such as this one, 100% of the money goes to the people who need it. It is by far one of the most effective ways to do good in this world and to help your fellow human beings. Here's the breakdown.

 

$5 purchases a dozen textbooks.

 

$20 purchases a school uniform for a child.

 

$75 pays for a 1st-grade to 3rd-grade student's fees.

 

$80 pays for a 4th-grade to 6th-grade student's fees.

 

$150 enrolls a 1st-grade to 3rd-grade student for a semester.

 

$180 enrolls a 4th-grade to 6th-grade student for a semester.

 

$300 pays for our school lunch program for a month. All the kids attending classes receive a free meal twice a week from our program.
