Help Queen Karma and her Mom with her vet bills

Hi- Most of you know bits and pieces of what has happened the past few weeks. I want to help explain why I need help.

As many of you know, I went to Turkey on a trip I paid for a year ago. I hired a dog sitter to watch the girls in my home. During my trip Karma became ill. The dog sitter, who is unemployed, early 20's, and does not have a drivers license, took a Lyft to the vet immediately when they opened. She notified me and I was in CONSTANT contact with both her and the vet the whole time.

Turkey is a 7 hour time difference from Atlanta, GA.

I am the dogs mother and owner. I have authorization for her care. I also let them know I will pay for everything. I have heard them call in the morning for bills they have 'floated' for other people in their clinic so I know they do it all the time. In addition, a few days until I'm back in the country seemed reasonable.

The vet decided to order all sorts of expensive tests (no consent given prior), send Karma home without meds (I asked for meds), decide she needed an expensive radiology consult the following day (no consent given) where a non-refundable deposit was required (I had to cancel the scan from Turkey), and talk about surgery (I did not, and would not, consent for surgery). The scan was for surgery.

Karma is 14 and has dementia. My goal is to keep her happy and as healthy as possible.

The sent me a link but due to a 7 hour time difference by the time I woke up they had CHARGED MY DOG SITTERS CREDIT CARD! They didn't take into account the time difference! And when I asked I was told it was 'policy' even if I'm not in the same country and didn't know about the link during the time they sent it.

So I had to take from my retirement to pay back my dog sitter in full.

And I came home to Karma still with a UTI. Which she often gets. Which made me have to take her to another vet (don't trust the first) and it cost me another huge bill (see second bill).

I'm asking for anything you can to help me because its one thing to pay over time but I didn't even get that chance.

I now have to cancel my own doctors appointment after I have struggled with pneumonia when I got back. Although I would give anything for my girls I really also need to be healthy and am scared. I live alone and I am not well. I have have pneumonia 3x in 2 years and I don't know why. Please help me with these two bills so I can see my own doctor in December. Anything you can do would be so much appreciated.
