Help Rachael and Mason Through This Tragic Loss

For those of you who do not know me, my name is Jenn and I am one of Rachael's childhood friends. She has always been so strong for me, this is my way of being strong for her. With her permission I am starting this GoFundMe in hopes to ease some of the financial burden she is being faced with.

As many of you know Rachael lost her husband very unexpectedly on January 13th. Sgt. Jason Riqiuer. Rachael and Jason have shared a beautiful life together for the last almost 24 years. He leaves behind Rachael, their only son Mason, his family, his police family and his friends.

Jason was a decorated and respected officer of the Scituate Police Department where he served his community for the last 23 years. He is also a Marine veteran, where his son Mason has now followed in his footsteps just becoming a Marine a year and a half ago.

During this extremely devastating time, where not only are they dealing with the loss of Jason, but are also facing some financial burdens. Jason and Rachael were a 2 income household. Rachael works for 2 different transport companies and Jason as an officer picked up overtime often. Rachael is currently out of work grieving her husband.

My hope is that this can help her with unexpected funeral costs and any housing expenses that may need to be covered. No amount is to small and if you cannot donate please share.
