Help Rachel’s Children

Hi! My name is Joy, and my childhood best friend passed away about a month ago. She leaves behind two special needs children. Brayden, who is four, has severe Spina Bifida, limited mobility, and hydrocephalus. He requires around the clock medical care and specialized equipment to keep him alive. Ragan, 15, is severely autistic. My friend did not leave behind a will, so her children were left without a legal guardian. Rachel’s neice, Brianne, quit her job and moved across the state to care for these kids and minimize the trauma that they would have to endure when Rachel was placed in hospice. She is still there today, taking on the full time job of caring for these very special kids. The children are VERY attached to her. We need to fight to keep this family together. An attorney is needed to sort through this nightmare and award custody of the children to their primary caregiver, so that she can access the resources and suppoet that she needs to raise these complex kids, especially Brayden. Any remaining funds will be used solely for the children, to get them what they need to live optimally fulfilling lives.
