Help Rafa & Rene rebuild Dental Clinic after VALENCIA Floods

Hi, my name is Carmen and I'm in complete awe of how your life can change in a blink of an eye. Nature is amazing but unfortunately we cannot control it when it unleashes its fury on humanity and destroys everyone and everything in its path. I've always watched news about all these tragedies and everything seems so far away. NOW IT HIT HOME.

My bother Rafa Pineda and his long time friend Rene Marquez had just opened their Dental Clinic after almost 20 years of saving and working 2-3 jobs as Dentists in order to make ends meet. Both are salvadorans living in Valencia for more than 20 years and with great effort and enthusiasm ventured into having their own clinic. They decided to invest in a town just outside of Valencia called Paiporta, now devastated by the floods (DANA).

The clinic opened with 2 very scared and enthusiastic professionals ready to make a living and succeed in what they love and have specialized for decades. They took on 2 loans and kept their 2/3 other jobs while starting MARQUEZ-PINEDA DENTAL!! Until right now, and before tragedy struck, they were juggling their time and crazy schedule in order to keep afloat and pay their loans hoping for the clinic to start generating enough revenue to be self sustainable.

The clinic has been open for 1 year and 4 months and FINALLY in October 2024 it broke even allowing it to cover its costs. Still no income but a good sign.

Then the worst nightmare hit... their clinic was completely destroyed by flood waters and in a few minutes, all they had worked for was washed away. Unfortunately, Paiporta, the nice peaceful Valencia Community town, was one of the epicenters of the DANA flooding and the Marquez-Pineda Dental clinic was in the middle of the worst hit area.

Rafa is also faced with the fact that his car was washed away in the flooding and still no sign of it anywhere! So NO CLINIC and NO CAR in a day!

What to do now? Insurance, yes... they have insurance but imagine the thousands and thousands of claims the insurance companies will have to process! In the news they were saying that response could take months or even years! and they are faced with the uncertainty if they will respond...
