Help to Cover Ragad's Spinal Fusion Surgery Cost

Hello.

My name is Ragad Awad. I am 22 years old. I have been diagnosed with Scoliosis S when I was 18 years old I had thoracic and Lumbar degrees that were moderate in last 40s.

I have been advised by doctors to ignore the surgery at that time because it is a major surgery and to instead go for swimming and physical therapy. I did over 30 physical therapy sessions but things never changed to the better.

In a few months, my spinal curves reached 60 degrees, which is severe. I went to many other doctors and a physical therapist and all they said was I need to do Spinal Fusion surgery or else I will have lots of complications including severe back pain, and heart and lung problems. They all advised me to go to Dr. Ismat Ghanem clinic in Hotel Dieu in Beirut, Lebanon.

I took an appointment and went to the clinic. He saw my MRI and Xrays and he said I needed the surgery urgently.

The surgery price is 18,600$ American Dollars and we do not have this amount of money.

I am still a university student and I have a bright future ahead and I do not want to lose it. I love life and I want to have a better life free of pain and complications.
