Hurricane Helene Aid for Raina & Posies for Lulu Vintage

Hi, my name is Raina Lee scott. I am the owner of Posies for Lulu Vintage. I live in Asheville, NC, and run a small vintage shop here and am asking for aid after Hurricane Helene's devastation.

The French Broad river rose 30 feet and flooded my shop's storage building in the River Arts District. Over 1,000 irreplaceable, one of a kind vintage pieces are gone worth hundreds of thousands of dollars.

The city still has no known date as to when we will get water back, possibly months, so there is no way to know when I will be able to open my business again.

My downtown brick and mortar shop was lucky not harmed, but my storage accounted for 1/3 of my entire inventory.

My neighborhood still has no water, no showers or working toilets. 

I am safe and my house is safe. When three trees came down in my yard, they missed my house by inches. I have some non perishable food and drinkable water for 

Like so many small business owners and working artists in Asheville, we have no way to make an income and will be financially devastated.

Asheville and myself have spent the last few weeks in absolute disparity, mourning the loss of our community, our homes, our businesses and loved ones after Hurricane Helene devastated our town.

I am asking for funding for myself and my business to aid in the survival of this catastrophic disaster. 

With no income for the next few months. Funds will go to home and business rent and bills so that I do not lose my business, or my home.
