Help raise 10k for our friends ear surgery

Hi everyone, we’ve decided to make this fund raiser for our friend Meg, who has recently discovered she’s going to need an ear surgery for Cholesteatoma.

Here’s a little bit about Cholesteatoma for you, A cholesteatoma is a sac of dead skin cells that forms in a pocket in your middle ear. If left untreated, they can damage the delicate structures inside your ear that are essential for hearing and balance. In some very serious cases cholesteatoma can cause, facial weakness / paralysis, dizziness, complete deafness and neurological symptoms.

So you see, this little sac of dead skin cells in your ear can cause life changing issues, this is something that no one deserves to go through in their life ever and especially not Meg. Meg has 2 children she needs to look after, she has a life to live and things she wants to see and do, we all wanna get together and finally meet up and have fun, but that may all be ripped away from her because of this disease.

Meg is one of the most kindest souls we’ve ever met, she’s so utterly supportive and uplifting towards everyone around her. She won’t hesitate to stand up to anyone who hurts any of her friends and she always manages to have a cheery attitude, even with the issues in her life currently. I’ve only known her for a little while, but it feels like I’ve known her my entire life, everyone is able to openly talk to her about anything and everything without feeling judged. She always offers herself as support whenever anyone is going through a hard time, we think it’s utterly unfair that she’s being put through this when all she’s ever done is be kind and gentle. We really hope we reach our goal for Meg and we really hope you all see the amazing person she is.
