Help raise 30,000 Euros for Down Syndrome Albania

Hi, my name is Daniel Nikolla, and I'm raising funds in aid of Down Syndrome Albania.

Therapeutic services for children with Down Syndrome and Autism are expensive and frequent.

As the proud founder of the fundraising campaign ''Garo / Mbështet si Maratonomak'' in 2020, I would kindly invite you to donate generously to help those less fortunate to afford therapeutic services.

For the third consecutive year, I will run the 21k race at the Tirana Marathon to raise much-needed funds and awareness to support the therapeutic services of those unable to afford them. At their PRO PAK service centre, Down Syndrome Albania supports children with Down syndrome and in Autism Spectrum and their families.

In the third year of fundraising for the charity, over 200 runners are running at the Tirana Marathon on 22 October 2023 to raise 30,000 Euros.

For perspective: In 2022, our campaign raised 19,564€. This sum was only able to support 19 children with special needs.

- the full treatment for 10 children

- 50% of treatment for 9 children.

- 10% of all donations went to support children internationally affected by the war.

If you are a business:

For just 300 Euros, your company's logo will feature on the shirt of every runner and be shared on Social Media.

Due to the generous support in 2022, the campaign has had significant impact. 19.564€ were raised from the contributions of 35 businesses and 97 individuals. The group of over 200 runners representing Down Syndrome Albania also claimed the 'Biggest Team Award' given by the organisers.

Two of our runners have also finished on the podium, carrying the campaign and all brands with them from the start to the podium.

In 2021, Malvin Nikolla claimed the bronze medal in the 10km category. (Men)
