Help raise funds for COVID-19 relief for India

Want to join me in making a difference? I'm a high school student raising money on behalf of Empower and Excel,NPO to fund beds and oxygen supplies for triage and isolation centers set up across Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, India.

Everyday I keep hearing stories of friends and family losing their loved ones in India to Covid-19 . India is experiencing the world's worst outbreak of Covid-19 and new cases breaking the records for highest single-day figure globally. There is a huge shortage of hospital beds, oxygen supply,antiviral drugs, coronavirus test kits ;virtually all the tools any country needs to fight a pandemic.

Every one of your contributions is tax-deductible and will go 100% to the cause. We also have a buy-in from the district local authorities to staff each bed that you fund with a licensed healthcare professional. A mere $65 funds a hospital bed complete with a mattress, bedsheet, and pillow and helps save a life! Time is ticking and every dollar counts. 

This cause means everything to us, and we will match every dollar contributed with one of our own. Your generosity will go a long way towards saving lives.

Here are some of the efforts Empower and Excel has already initiated.

1.Working with the government to open 100-bed capacity triage and isolation centers across several cities in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.Our responsibility is procuring beds and govt is going to take care of treatment and staff.
Cost of each bed is 65$. 

2. Providing self-quarantine medical kits to poor people. - Each kit is 35$

3. Procure oxygen concentrators and support in isolation centers. Each 7L concentrator is around $800 

4. Providing basic ration for daily wage covid impacted families - Each kit is 25$
