Hello, we are the family of Joshua Brown. On March 4th, 2022 our world shattered. We awoke at nearly 2 am to horrifying news, our beloved son, father, nephew and cousin was struck by a hit and run driver. We raced out of homes, hoping for the best and fearing the worst. Unfortunately, our worst fears were realized when we arrived at the scene. Josh had been fatally struck and killed. We have started this GoFundMe to raise funds for funeral expenses and a memorial to honor the beautiful memory he leaves behind.

Joshua was a man that could light up any room; he had a beautiful smile and a warmth that emanated from his very being. Everyone that met Joshua loved and adored him. He was a hard-working and dedicated man that constantly sought to better his own life and the lives of his family. The person that killed him extinguished a light that can never be relit; they've dug a hole in our hearts that can never be filled. Joshua was in the prime of his life; he had recently become a homeowner, a father and was engaged to be married to his beautiful fiance.

Our main priorities with this fundraiser are to honor his memory and celebrate the extraordinary life he led. We want his funeral to memorialize his beautiful spirit and maintain the same warmth that Josh gave off every day. The funds raised will go towards funeral/burial costs, a memorial, and our bereaved family's general assistance, with particular consideration to his mother, fiance, and son. Any amount given would be greatly appreciated; we also ask you to consider sharing this page and spreading awareness of Joshua's tragic death. In the end, all that can be said is that we love you, Josh, and we'll see you again one day.

The donations received from this fundraiser will be transferred to Sheila Mcmaryion’s account. She is Joshua’s aunt and my mother. Joshua was my cousin. We intend to use the money for the cemetery burial, repass hall, headstone and to fly out various elderly relatives.
