Help Raise Funds for LeeAnn's Breast Cancer

Hi everyone, my name is Michael. As of this year my wife and I will have spent 37 years together and will have raised two incredible young women during that time. Now I have some sad news regarding our family. Three days before Christmas 2020, following her annual mammogram, Lee-Ann received a call that she needed to return for more tests. Then shortly after received the devastating news...you have breast cancer. We are blessed to believe they have caught her cancer early but Lee-Ann will need a double mastectomy and treatment to follow. Shortly after her diagnosis she was also given the unfortunate news that she will likely need a hysterectomy as well (a procedure to remove your reproductive organs). On top of her recent diagnosis, Lee-Ann took a bad fall on black ice in 2020 that lead to continuous months of extreme pain that eventually resulted in shoulder surgery in November 2020. Naturally, it is difficult to comprehend let alone put into words what she is going through. After a work accident 14 years ago, I became disabled with a traumatic brain injury. Lee-Ann without hesitation or question took over the role of the main income earner of the household. Since then, she continues to go above and beyond to support and care for her family day in and day out. If you know Lee-Ann or have ever met her then you have had the pleasure to experience a different kind of energy and positivity that radiates through every individual she interacts with. A smile that can brighten up any room or day, literally any. There is nothing but good in and about her. Unfortunately, multiple appointments over the last few months have already come to cost thousands of dollars and are quickly continuing to add up. So from the Bruhn family to our extended family, friends & community, we are asking for any donations to help pay for Lee-Ann’s appointments, procedures, treatments etc. Any bit would be immensely and unfathomably appreciated so that we can help Lee-Ann get through this extremely difficult road that lies ahead.
