HELP RAISE FUNDS FOR MARIE IN HAITI.

Hi everyone! It's Elle and our Haiti Club at Shadyside Academy. Our Haiti Club is raising funds again for WORK, a nonprofit organization whose mission is to accompany families in Haiti out of poverty through good, dignified jobs. We have fundraised and volunteered for this organization for 3+ years now. Last year, we raised over $2,000 to support WORK's mission and a young girl in Haiti. This year, we set a goal to raise $3,000 to support the girl we sponsor, Marie Renette Duqueres, and her family. Marie is a remarkable 15-year-old girl who lives in Menelas, Haiti, and dreams of being able to remain in school, graduate from High School and attend college. She is currently in the 9th grade and her favorite class is English. In her free time, she loves to dance, read and play with her three siblings. The funds raised will support wrap-around services, including an education scholarship, for Marie and her siblings. Please support Marie and her family with a donation today!
