Help raise funds for Raymond's treatment

Dear Friends, Family, and Neighbours,

I come to you today with a heartfelt request for assistance.

Our dear friend Raymond Raad has been battling liver cancer (non-alcohol related) and a rare cancer called PMP for the last 4 years. During this time, he has undergone various treatments, trying different medications covered by PBS, but has suffered severe side effects, leaving his medical team no choice but to stop administering them.

His dear family have left no stone unturned, trying to source an alternative solution. They have exhausted a range of medical care, oncologists, treatments and specialists.

Raymonds last and only option left, is immunotherapy, which unfortunately is not covered by PBS (not subsidised). Raymond must start this fortnightly therapy immediately; however each treatment costs appx. $8,000. The family are looking at $80,000 worth of treatment that will not be covered by the government.

In the face of this daunting diagnosis and huge financial burden, I am reaching out to our community for support.

Raymond is not just a dear friend; he is a kind and gentle man. A cherished member of our brotherhood and community, known for his warmth, sense of humour, generosity, and unwavering spirit. He has always been the man to help others when in need. Now, as he and the family confront this formidable adversary, it is our turn to stand by their side and offer our support in any way we can.
