Help raise funds for Ukrainian refugee family

Tim and his mom Lena are Ukrainian refugees who we, Dr. Danielle Belardo and Dr. Marianna Blokh, were able to care for at the Ukraine-Poland border. Tim is one of the bravest 13-year-olds we have ever met. He and his mom fled their war-stricken home in Ukraine, leaving behind his father, grandparents, uncles, aunts, cousins, and his pet cat. We had the privilege of taking care of Tim and Lena at the SSF (Sauveteurs Sans Frontières) Medical Tent and hearing their story. We learned that Tim loves soccer and plays as a goalie for his team. We also realized that making it safely to the border was the beginning of the journey for this mom and son duo. They finally have made it to Italy, but they have left everything they own behind.
