I need your help to raise funds for a human rights lawyer

Hi, my name is Lee. Recently, I faced an unexpected and unjust situation where I was sentenced to prison for sharing a picture on social media. The courts pressured me into pleading guilty by threatening indefinite custody until a trial date could be set. Fearing the loss of my respected and trusted job, I pleaded guilty, hoping to avoid imprisonment.
To my shock and the surprise for many other people across the UK, I received an 8-week prison sentence for charges of malicious communication and breach of the peace. I’ve been advised that this sentence was unlawful, as my actions did not violate any such law. While I can appeal this sentence in a court of Human Rights, the process is costly.
I have some savings, but losing my job has made it difficult to gather the necessary funds. This is why I’m reaching out for any help towards my legal costs. Many people on my social media have encouraged me to create this GoFundMe. This injustice is bigger than just my case; it represents a misuse of power aimed at deterring others from posting content that the government deems sensitive.
I deeply appreciate all the support I’ve received so far on social media. Together, we can challenge and overcome this corrupt system. Thank you so much for your support.
