Help raise funeral costs for my cousin James Cabanlit

Hello, my name is Sophia Cabanlit Cortes and I have organised a fundraiser to help raise money for my cousin James Cabanlit's funeral and memorial in the Philippines.

My Kuya James was a kind-hearted soul and was well loved by everyone he knew. Many called him a golden child because of his kind, loving and caring nature. He wanted to be a pilot but because his family couldn’t afford it, he decided to do an aircraft mechanic course but was still aiming high to be a pilot one day.

My uncle (his father), Tito Jhun, had to work abroad as a construction contract worker to provide for my Kuya and their family - exactly the same thing that my Lolo did for the family to provide a brighter future and education for my Mum, Tito Jhun and their siblings.

Tito Jhun was due to go back to the Philippines and stay with Kuya James and the rest of his family for good after finishing his contract work abroad, however a week before Tito Jhun was about to finally be reunited with his family, my dear Kuya James died in a devastatingly tragic accident.

All proceeds from this fundraiser will go towards the funeral and memorial service in the Philippines, any donation as small as £1 can really help make a difference. Thank you and God bless you.
