Help Raise money for a mobile defibrillator

We at Hirwaun & Mackworth JFC Under 11s, are raising money to buy a mobile defibrillator. So it will be available on match days for the mini football games being played at different venues around the Aberdare area. These games are watched by so many people, and with sudden cardiac arrest figures on the rise, we think it is the right thing to do.

Approximately 95% of people who suffer a Sudden Cardiac Arrest (SCA), will die before reaching the hospital and 30,000 people this year will suffer Sudden Cardiac Arrest. With effective community initiatives in place, the survival rate could be as high as 50%.
