Help raise money for Deon Rogahn memorial cost.

Hello, with a heavy heart I introduce myself. My name is Ranata Rose. I am the auntie of a very loving man, Deon Rogahn. Deon became very, very ill just over a year ago, right before Thanksgiving. It was a surprise to all of us because he was 31, so strong, and we thought healthy. He even thought he was healthy. It turns out he was in stage 5 kidney failure. This was very devastating, and for his father, Rodney Rogahn, who was/is Deon's biggest fan, it was like he had gotten the diagnosis himself. It doesn't get any bigger than the bond they shared. Deon's father stepped into overdrive and did everything that he possibly could to save him. This was a year of driving over 110 miles one way from Minot to Bismarck for dialysis three times a week. For a year, he did it. My brother lost his best friend, his soul, and his son on Wednesday, December 18th, 2024. My brother would never ask for help, nor would Deon, but they are the first men to put their hand in their pocket and give all they had to anyone that they came across that needed it. And they don't have anything to give.

With that being said, I'm here trying to help him raise anything to help with the cost of his memorial. His memorial is December 30th. I've never done this kind of thing, but I am seeing the stress it has on my brother, who should only be grieving the loss of his son, not what he can sell to afford the memorial. I know that many people are put in this situation every day, and I know that there is never a good time for any of this. At 32 years old, my brother Rod never thought he would be saying goodbye to his son. If you feel it in your heart to help at this most devastating time, it would be the biggest blessing to a man that would be forever grateful. And if all you can afford is a prayer for his strength to keep getting out of bed every day, to keep living even though what he was living for is gone, then that in itself would be a blessing and greatly appreciated.
