A school for GA scholars

I am a former public school instructor who has previously taught k-5th grade. I hold a Master's Degree in Education and an Undergraduate Degree in Family and Child Advocacy.
I founded Differentiated Education Learning Academy (D.E.L.A.), a school that provides an equitable, diverse, nurturing , and culturally aware environment for scholars throughout my community.
DELA is an enrichment learning program that facilitates home school and online learners. We also provide tutoring for scholars that attend in traditional schools such as private, public and Montessori schools.
Our mission is to develop humble leadership, improve teamwork, spark learners' creativity and better equip them to improve their lives beyond the classroom.
As a mother of a kinesthetic learner on the spectrum, I understand the challenges and misconceptions children on the spectrum, ADHD, and gifted scholars face during their learning journey. Therefore, I am dedicated to advocating for children with disabilities and teaching parents how to advocate for their children.
Our staff consists of professionals with a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in education with experience in all four major content areas: math, ELA, science and social studies. We tailor our instruction to fit the optimal learning style of each individual learner. Our program inculcates the love of learning, problem-solving, critical thinking, and confidence within our scholars.
Our goal is to raise funds to lease a building and purchase transportation for our scholars to attend field trips and get to and from our facility.
