Help raising funds for my Grandfather's Funeral

This is my Grandfather, Walter Lee Norville, but everyone called him Lee, and I called him paw, or paw paw. He passed away this morning, November 10th, 2022 at 10:30 AM. He was a good man, a good husband, a good father, a good grandfather, and he knew how to make you smile.

This GoFundMe is to get enough money to pay for his funeral. It's going to be close to 7000$, the insurance is going to pay for part of it, but my Grandmother will have to pay the rest. Our family doesn't have the means to cover the cost, and my Grandmother had already struggled to pay bills before his passing.

Anything over the cost of the funeral will be going towards my Grandmother to help her out.

Wanted to just tell you a bit about my Grandfather:

My grandfather, born and raised in the poorest parts of North Carolina, fought in the Korean War with his best buddy Kenneth. Came home and started a family with my Grandmother, Nancy. He was a hardworking man, but he loved to play music. He was one of the best guitar pickers east of the Mississippi and even got to play in the Grand Old Opry once.

He was a delivery man, loved driving, loved his job and the freedom that it gave him. He was also a Christian, and had a profoundly faithful relationship with God. He prayed every day, also making sure he prayed for everyone around him.

The man loved country music, bluegrass was his favorite and he loved playing music so so so much. He was a fan of the Braves and the Panthers.

He made a life with my Grandmother and his daughter Julie, my mother. After he retired, he took care of my sister and me; he was the best grandfather. He was always there for us, always taking us to school, picking us up, making sure we had snacks, taking us out, and just being what he could for us. I miss him so much.

Anything helps, and it is all appreciated; as soon as we know the dates for receiving and the funeral itself, I will update you.
