Help Rajan Palani

Our friend, Rajan Palani, suffered a massive stroke a week ago which caused extensive damage to his brain. It has significantly impacted his cognitive abilities, speech, and physical mobility leaving him incapacitated. He has recently been shifted to an inpatient rehabilitation center to start his rehab program which involves intensive physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech therapy. We are anticipating a long and arduous road to recovery ahead and based on his current prognosis, we believe he will be unable to work going forward.

On the family front, Rajan has been a single dad for the last decade and a half and has raised

two children single-handedly after the abrupt loss of their mother when they were in middle/high school.

He is an extremely loving father who is the sole breadwinner for his family and has worked tirelessly to support his children through school and college. Additionally, his son has continual, long-term medical needs, and is not in a position to seek employment that has added financial stress to the current situation while his daughter is still in school pursuing her Masters's program.

While the community is working hard to figure out a plan for the long-term care of Rajan and his family, the immediate need of the hour is substantial financial support to take care of Rajan’s medical and rehab bills.

Rajan and his family would never ask for support, which is why we are asking on their behalf. We request you to consider this as a personal appeal for help and open up your minds and hearts to support the family.
