My dad, Ralph Chapoteau, a talented artist who has dedicated his life to creating beauty through his work, has been dealt a devastating blow. On July 22, 2023 my dad drove to the ER with severe abdominal pain that he’d been experiencing for a few months but had recently worsened and after a few hours at the hospital was told that he had colon cancer that had already began to metastasize. He has been receiving treatment at the hospital for the past week and his illness has left him unable to work on his art or job, robbing him of a source of income and amplifying the financial burdens associated with his treatment.
As medical bills accumulate and the cost of care rises, the weight of worry weighs heavily on our family. We are launching this GoFundMe campaign in the hope that we can rally together and provide the financial support he needs to fight this disease and pay for general living expenses.
