Hi my name is Ram Bahadur. I'm a international student, been here for 4.5 years. Everything was going well. After this COVID happened in 2020, i started to struggle. I did not have job for next 8 months. I someone managed to survive through my super, thanks to Australian government for the help in such time of need. I did complete my diploma back in Sydney and i'm pursuing my bachelors of nursing here in Coffs Harbour. I moved here in starting of 2021, i couldn't find a place to stay for next 2 months. I somehow found a sharing unit with a indian couple and did land myself with a age care job but it wasn't enough. The nursing fee for international student is $28,000 a year and thats a huge amount. You cannot pay later or access loans, you have to pay everything upfront so i struggled with it. We do have a month of placement every 4 months which makes it even worse. I still have 6 months to go, i've got like heaps of loans to pay for creditors. Its really dragging me backwards and its really hard for me to continue with same optimism. I'm here seeking for help to see if someone could support me at this difficult times and i could pay them back after i graduate? Thank you.
