I am Ismail Suleiman Abu Amra, I now live in Belgium, but my family in Gaza is under bombardment and fire, I thought a lot before creating this account and hesitated a lot but the urgent need forced us, after a whole year and four months of a devastating war, my family lives in a nightmare and injustice that we have never seen in imagination or movies, they live a very, very harsh life, throughout the war my father, mother and brothers’ work stopped, they have no source of income, other than the assistance I provide them, I was the only one responsible for the lives and needs of 15 individuals who are my family and the most precious thing I have, they are my mother, father and my married brothers and their wives and children and my unmarried sister and brother, but now I have become helpless and unable to bear more, I have the responsibility of my wife and my three children and the rent of our house and the very expensive requirements of life here in Belgium, I have never been burdened by helping my father and brothers, but after a whole year of continuous work to be able to manage the needs of my family in Belgium, as well as my family in Gaza, without assistance From anyone, I have become very exhausted and have accumulated huge debts, I have become unable to continue alone, my family in Gaza lost all their homes and they all live in one room that they rent, they were displaced and left their homes since the first day of the war because their homes are located east of Salah El-Din Street, and it is considered an area close to the border with the occupation, and in addition to paying the monthly rent here and there, I pay for food, drink, gas, washing water, transportation and moving from one place to another, I am responsible for everything that concerns them, no one helps them but me, and now I have decided to ask for help from all the free people of the world and those who have in their hearts love for justice, equality and freedom for all people without discrimination, I want you to stand by me and my family, your support is important so that they can continue to live and be able one day after the war stops to rebuild their home or travel to search for a safe place for them, we just want to live in peace and security, my brother Muhammad will tell his story and their suffering, he is the one who lives the suffering and describes what he sees of injustice in Gaza...
Hello, I am Muhammad Suleiman Abu Amra, I am 25 years old. Before the war, we lived a beautiful life. We had a large house with an area of 400 square meters and a beautiful garden in front of it. We lived in apartments above our parents’ apartment. My older brother was an architect and lived in his apartment above us with his pregnant wife and son. My brother’s wife gave birth during the war and gave birth to a girl. She gave birth to her baby girl in a tent and at the time there was no food. As for me, I graduated from solar energy engineering and I was studying business administration in my graduation semester. Fate wanted me to get married one month before the war. I worked very hard to build my house. I worked for several months as an unemployed solar energy engineer and after my shift I completed building my house with my own hands. I did not use workers. Only my older brother and my father helped me, as they have a lot of experience, as did my close friend. At that time, I even lost 15 kg of my weight from the amount of work. I designed the most beautiful house my eyes had ever seen. It was full of love. I wanted to work hard to build it myself so that it would be warm with love, but unfortunately we did not enjoy it. The occupation destroyed our house in seconds and it became A pile of rubble, I have dreamed and worked hard for years and spent all my energy for the sake of our life, my wife and our children, my wife Enas prepared her clothes and things from the most beautiful imported things and from the best brands and it cost her a lot of money, but she could not enjoy them, their engagement was for two years and during this period she was buying and preparing her house without using anything from it, she was deprived of using her things and clothes even once, she wished she was happy to decorate them or take pictures with them, when the occupation withdrew from the area my father returned to check on our house and our things and found everything destroyed, nothing was left for us, even the clothes we found were ashes, poor Enas was waiting for my father to find her a dress or just one pajama or one bottle of perfume, he did not find anything, we were deprived of everything we own without any reason, just injustice, we are now newlyweds and these are supposed to be the most beautiful days of our lives, but what are we living now, we sleep in a 2m2 tent on the roof of the room that my father rents, and next to us is a pile of our burnt clothes living in it Insects, we escape from the severe crowding, and Enas is now pregnant and needs medical care, healthy food, a clean house, nutrients and monthly checkups. Caring for a pregnant woman is very expensive, because the pregnancy journey is difficult until she delivers her fetus safely, and we must also prepare for the birth and the newborn. There is only a month left until her birth day, there is only a month left until my son arrives,,,, Raman,,,, Where will my child sleep? If it weren’t for this cursed war, I would have prepared the most beautiful bedroom for my little one,,,,
As for my sister Kholoud, she is studying physical therapy and she is 20 years old, and my little brother Moaz, he is 14 years old, he suffers from recurring bladder infections that cause him severe pain, we all miss our beautiful rooms a lot, we took great care of our private rooms and designed them with the most beautiful design, now there is no trace of them or our things, now we live with all the family members in only one room, in one corner of it is the bathroom and in another corner are the kitchen and gas supplies, we sleep and eat in it, this crowding suffocates me and we cannot sleep from the screaming of the children, the insects, mosquitoes, cockroaches and the very high heat and humidity in the summer, but now the weather is very cold, as if the cold is breaking my bones, and we have all lost a lot of weight because of the bad food these days and the very, very high prices for everything he eats, it has become as if we are eating money and not food, I ask God Almighty to give us patience and strength, I often feel as if these are the last days of our lives, I never despair of God’s power, but the injustice we live is much greater than my mind could have imagined before, I never imagined that I would live all this one day. .....
The goal of requesting support
My goal is for my family to continue to survive and provide the basics we need, as well as build and reconstruct my father's house and my house and my older brother's house, and to contribute to building our city and for everyone to live a decent and secure life, we are not looking for luxury ...
We are also thinking of another option, which is to reunite my family members and bring them to live outside Gaza, but this is very, very expensive. There are 15 of them and each one of them leaves Gaza at a cost of $5,000.
The least my family members deserve in Gaza is water, clean and healthy food, to sleep safely and comfortably in their home and to have electricity, to send their children to school to learn and have games and friends, but with the war, all of this has become non-existent in Gaza, as my city has been subjected to destruction that will take decades to build and reconstruct and become suitable for a decent life.
I need your financial support so that my family can return to life again
and start a new journey full of hope towards a better life. Do not let us down in Gaza as the law let us down. Our appeal is simple. We just want to live ..
...
Why your support is important
Your contribution is more than just financial support, it represents solidarity, compassion, and commitment to human rights and dignity in these difficult times. The Palestinian cause is not only an Arab or Islamic issue, it is a humanitarian issue that affects all people. If you do not support it, you must check your humanity. Your help, whether small or large, can make a big difference in preserving my family's life and alleviating their suffering.... Please consider sharing my campaign widely with friends and the community to reach the goal as soon as possible because every moment represents a risk of death.
As human beings, you all have a responsibility for what is happening in Gaza. I have done my best to show the world our reality, and now the world needs to show where it stands.
Thank you again for standing with us in solidarity and making a positive impact on my life and the lives of the afflicted people of Gaza.
I hope for your support and generosity...
