Help Ramasamy family that lost everything in house fire

Dear friends, family, kind hearted strangers,

We are reaching out to you to ask for your help for the Ramasamy family and the devastating incident that happened on Wednesday 31st of July 2024. In the afternoon around 1pm, their home, which is also a family daycare (where our daughter went to), was destroyed by catastrophic fire.

Our educator, Chandra Ramasamy is the kindest, warmest person. She treats all the children under her care as her own. She always goes above and beyond to help

others.

The family has been part of the community for many years. The fire not only took their home, their source of income, their cherished belonging, including family photos, clothing, children’s toys, treasured possessions, household items, etc.

The emotional toll of losing everything is overwhelming, while they are staying with relatives, they need our help to rebuild their lives and go through this difficult time.

We have set a goal initially for $12,000 to cover the immediate expenses they face in the aftermath of this disaster. This includes securing temporary housing, purchasing clothing and basic necessities, and beginning the process of rebuilding their home. Every donation, no matter how small, will make a significant difference and help bring a glimmer of hope to this family.
