Read My Story please
My name is Sarah. I am a 15-year-old girl with big dreams and a deep passion for learning. My greatest ambition is to become a doctor one day. I have always been a top student, striving to build a brighter future despite the challenges around me. However, I am battling a meniscal tear in my knee, for which I’ve already undergone two surgeries. Now, I urgently need an MRI and further medical tests, but living in Gaza amidst the war means there are no functioning hospitals or medical equipment. Every day, I endure the pain, both physical and emotional, knowing there’s no help in sight.

My younger brother, Amir, is 10 years old. He’s full of dreams too. Amir hopes to become a professional soccer player, and like me, he excels in school. But life in Gaza, with its unending war and deprivation, has stolen his simple joys. Playing soccer—a dream that should be so simple—feels completely out of reach. I see the sadness in his eye as he realizes the barriers standing in his way. Recently, Amir contracted hepatitis from contaminated food and the polluted environment around us. For two long months, he suffered greatly, enduring pain and fatigue. The lack of proper medical care in Gaza made his recovery even more challenging.

Despite everything, Amir and I hold on to hope. We dream of a life where we are free to chase our ambitions without the constant fear of violence. But the reality is harsh: the war has stripped us of even the most basic necessities, leaving us to fight an uphill battle every single day.

Your support could be our lifeline. A small act of kindness can make a monumental difference for our family. With your help, we could access the medical care I so desperately need, and Amir could begin to nurture his talent and reclaim his joy. Most importantly, your generosity could give us a chance to escape the unbearable reality of Gaza and find safety.

Please consider helping us. Your kindness brings light to our darkest days and fuels our determination to keep dreaming, even in the face of despair. Together, we can turn our hope into a future.
