Help Raymond's Dream of Veterinary Medicine in Africa!

Hi! My name is Raymond, and I'm 20 years old. I'm in my third year of Veterinary Bioscience at the University of Mount Olive in North Carolina. I am now the secretary of the Animal Science Club, a member of the D1 Men's Volleyball team, and have been selected to compete in the Academic Quadrathlon of Animal Science this coming school year. After graduation, I intend to continue my study until I earn my Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine and Science. I have been working very hard to excel in my courses and keep a good GPA, but being accepted into Vet-School is not a simple task, and aside high marks, it demands a lot of experience, internships, clinical hours, and recommendations. At the University of Mount Olive, I worked with a variety of farm animals; during my clinical hours at the vet clinic, I primarily worked with house pets; and I am currently completing a summer internship at a zoo in central Florida, which will allow me to work with endangered species and local wildlife. Being able to attend this Veterinary Wildlife Program will not only be an extraordinary and memorable opportunity, but will also allow me to gain experience and knowledge about specific animal species in their natural habitat, which is essential for my degree and greatly increases my chances of being accepted to Veterinary School the following year.

This internship is an exciting opportunity and it'll be a dream come true. I've wanted to be a veterinary doctor and work with animals since I was a child, but I never imagined I'd be able to work with animals in Africa!
