Support The Lyerson Family Through Ray’s Medical Emergency

Dear friends & family,

My name is Vanessa & I am making this GoFundMe on behalf of my sister & brother-in-law, Ray & Alyssa Lyerson.

As many of you know, 7 weeks ago Ray underwent an aortic aneurysm repair & mechanical valve replacement. Although successful, these past several weeks have taken a negative turn. Ray has been in & out of the hospital due to a plethora of complications & unfortunately had to be life-flighted to Pittsburgh yesterday evening. Alyssa has been at his side through all of it while also caring for their 3 beautiful children at home which has left her unable to work. In an effort to avoid burdening anyone, Alyssa has been battling Ray's medical issues, bills, Christmas, kids, etc. on her own. I am asking any & everyone to help in any way they can in my family’s time of need. Ray & Alyssa would help anyone & their children no matter the circumstances and have done so. Because of this, Ray is unable to spend Christmas at home with his family & this is taking an unimaginable toll on their children. I know it is a hectic time of year for everyone but if you find it in your heart to help in any way, please do. Please help me help my sister & brother by making sure these kids have a Christmas, the bills can be paid, utilities can be kept on, groceries can be provided, gas can be purchased for the trips to and from Pittsburgh, parking at the hospital and everything in between.
