The Redeemed Christian Church of God, Overcomers Assembly for all Nations, located at 7 Freeman Street, Stoughton, MA is a Parish established to bring good news and transformation to the Stoughton community and its environs. By God’s grace, we have been faithfully following this mandate.
This campaign is to appeal for your assistance with raising funds for a new place to worship. We are currently on the verge of eviction from our current location. Therefore we are sincerely asking for your generous donation to this cause.
“Knowing that whatsoever good thing any man doeth, the same shall he receive of the Lord” Ephesians 6:8.
Before October 2021, our church had two small spaces to worship. One for the children's church and the other for the adults and youths. However, in November 2021, we were evicted from our children’s church as the landlord recalled the space. We then intensified our search for a building of our own significantly as the adults and children were now constrained to a single small area to share. We’ve since made several efforts to acquire a place of worship, but efforts to date have proven abortive, mainly due to financial constraints.
The latest development that has necessitated this call for help is that as of Friday, March 25, 2022, we were given an eviction notice to vacate the premises entirely by the end of April 2022.
Presently the church has found a potential place of worship, but we do not have enough for the down payment and need about $100,000.00 to make it up. We implore you to help us rise to this challenge and give generously and willingly, as the Lord lays on your heart. Please note that no amount is too small. We also covet your prayers, as we go through this trying time, ‘that we will overcome, and testify to the goodness of our God’.
