Her return to Houston is scheduled from the 16th to the 31st. The critical surgery is planned for the 17th, followed by a three-night hospital stay. Afterward, she will undergo an innovative form of radiation therapy delivered via an MRI machine. This phase is crucial in her battle against cancer, and any support to help her through this time would be invaluable.

Today, Rebecca (fondly known to many of us as Becky) reached an important milestone in her brave battle against stage 2 cervical cancer. She completed her last session of the initial phase of radiation and chemotherapy, following the treatment plan set by her oncology team. However, Becky faces a new challenge. Her specific cancer type can be more effectively treated with an advanced form of radiation therapy available at Baptist MD in Houston, a treatment not offered in her local Jacksonville area.

Recently, Becky received her consultation dates at Baptist MD Houston, scheduled for the 9th and 10th of January. The proximity of these appointment dates has led to a steep increase in the costs of travel and accommodation, adding to the complexity of her situation.

Throughout her treatments over the past few months, Becky has shown incredible resilience, working daily, and efficiently managing her rigorous medical schedule.
