Help Rebecca Complete her Bachelor of Social Work

Rebecca Querin is a Senior, double major in Social Work and Spanish at Oakwood University in Huntsville, Alabama. She is an international student from Paris, France. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, she was not able to go home during the summer of 2020 and had to remain in Hunstville. She struggled to find work in order to support herself during the crisis and save for the upcoming school year. It is extremely difficult for international students to financially clear because they do not have access to government funding and many scholarships.

Rebecca has struggled to financially clear every year since she began her journey at Oakwood. She has worked as a night monitor at the freshman dorm and joined the Literature Evangelist Training Center selling Christian literature to help her mother pay her tuition, but still needs more support. She was given until this Monday, August 24th, to financially clear, or she will have to leave school.

Rebecca has thoroughly enjoyed her Oakwood experience and would love to continue her education. Returning back home to France is not an option for her. As her friends, we are rallying together to advocate for her. She is a selfless, talented, and ambitious young lady.
