Help Rebecca recover from pressure cooker accident

Donation protected
Hi, my name is Chris and over the Thanksgiving weekend my friend Rebecca stopped over my place and during her visit she wanted to make dinner using a pressure cooker. I was in another room when I heard a loud pop and screaming; while we do not have clarity what went wrong, what did go wrong is the lid of the pressure cooker flew into her face with the net result of several broken teeth, eye socket severely damaged, check bone fracture, and we had trouble with bleeding because she has a condition that limits blood clotting; and she had a concussion. Her medical bills will include trip to ER, dentist for replacing teeth (implants most probable), and management of her eye site (eye socket repair and possibly permanent or long term optical nerve damage). The estimation of major steps controlling her future are 4-6 months tied up with follow-up visits, treatments, and recovery which will limit wages if not be able to work for awhile... the domino effect includes rent, food, and basic living expenses. Based on several interactions medical personnel the estimation of medical + lost work opportunity is estimated at $45,298. Any help is appreciated for recovery expenses, medical procedures and lost wages. We are in contact with the pressure cooker manufacturer but there is no clear explanation of the aftermath of something terribly gone wrong.
