Hi, my name is Allison Faunce, and I am fundraising for Rebecca Leonard.

 

Rebecca and her father have been long time SOAM Vendors. They have been with us from Season 1. Both are instantly recognizable my their large contagious smiles on any given SOAM Saturday. If her father wasn't selling his hand painted historical signs, he was right by Rebecca's side, helping her setup her booth for her jewelry business - Fuchsia Bloom. They are the true testament of the simple and large acts family does for each other. Both Rebecca and Robert lived in the same apartment, along with Rebecca's teenage son. Robert and Rebecca were finally trying to purchase that home together this past Fall when the landlord put their apartment up for sale. This is why a sudden closer to their new chapter feels so shocking.

 

Both Rebecca and her father Robert contracted covid in early December. Both were hospitalized, but only Rebecca made it back home. Robert passed away on December 22nd from the complications. Rebecca herself just came home from the hospital this past Wednesday. When I reached out to Rebecca to find out what I could do for her, all she asked for was breakfast muffins because she is still to weak to work and make meals for her and her son. She needs a lot more than breakfast muffins right now, but that just shows you how humble she is. With her permission, I have started this Go Fund to help her with Grocery/Meal Delivery until she feels mentally, emotionally, and physically better. Please give ANY amount you can, in the very least, it will mean one less meal she has to worry about right now.
