Rally together for Rebecca!

My name is Raina Hayes, and I am the daughter of Rebecca Gustovich. Rebecca is an elementary school teacher, single mother of four, grandmother of one, and a valued friend to many! Rebecca was diagnosed with Paget's disease, a rare form of breast cancer. For the specific surgery she needs, she will be travelling to New Orleans for two separate operations. She will need to have a caregiver for both trips, and although insurance is covering the procedure, travel and recovery costs will stack up. We are seeking help from the community to raise funds. Help us rally together for Rebecca!

If you are in Helena, there will also be a community chili feed, silent auction, and raffle on Sunday, June 13th at 5 pm at the Little Red Schoolhouse: 1635 Sierra rd E. Come bid on items generously donated by our community, eat some chili ($5 for two bowls with all the fixings), and hang out with friends and family!

If you are more comfortable donating locally, donations may be presented to Rocky Mountain Credit Union. Please make checks out to Rebecca Gustovich, and specify that it is for her donation fund. If you have a local business, a special craft or skill, or teach a class or provide a service that you would be willing to share, please reach out to us about donating to the silent auction!

Although we look forward to putting this chapter behind us, the outpour of help from our community continues to amaze us. We are so grateful for everything you have done, and continue to do to help our family get past this hurdle! Rebecca is the strongest woman I know, and I am proud to call her mom. I know she will continue her fight with strength, courage, and resiliency!
